This week marks one year since Desh died. I am typically in the Christmas spirit but this year it took a lot of eye rolling and irritability to even get the tree up. He died right near that tree. But it’s the tree that I have and it gives off great light (it’s pink). I don’t want to take a break or time off for the holidays. I want to keep working and live my regular life. But this Thursday, on the actual anniversary, I’ll break the routine and stroll the path of grief. Before I lost anyone...

I've had a few of you ask me to share how I write this email. I've been writing this email every Sunday since December 2019. This month marks four years! My method is very simple. I was just saying last month that going on long walks had officially become a habit for me and then freezing/rainy temps on Halloween snuck up on me and threw me off of my self-proclaimed habit. I've stayed consistent with cooking at home and not spending money just to justify...
